| Right of accretion |
When an effect is placed in a property in such a way that its removal will damage the property, the effect may be comprised by the mortgage on the property.

| Right of advancement |
The mortgage advances in the order of priority as repayments are made on the prior loans, cf. section 40 of the Danish Registration Act.

| Right of appeal |
Complaint about an administrative decision to a superior authority.
|
| Right of assignment |
Right to let another person take your place in a contractual relationship, e.g. the right of assignment under a lease where, if occasion should arise, the lessee is entitled to assign the lease to another lessee.

| Right of cancellation |
When the buyer/orderer has the right to cancel the purchase.

| Right of identification |
The debtor’s right in enforcement proceedings to identify the potential effects on which execution may be levied.

| Right of occupation |
When the buyer of a property undertakes to provide the seller with housing, lodgings or any other service. The court may be asked to register the agreement. The right of occupation constitutes part of the purchase price and is based on an estimate of the duration of the obligation. The Danish tax authorities have tables showing the expected duration. These tables are based on the age of the person who is entitled to the service.

Right to purchase an asset at the same price as that which can be obtained from a third party

| Right of retention |
The right to hold possession of an effect until satisfaction of the debt owed by the recipient.

| Right of stoppage in transit |
The seller may retain the goods or stop the goods on their way to the buyer, cf. sections 39 and 40 of the Danish Sale of Goods Act.

| Right of use |
The right to use a property. Right of use is, for example, used in connection with leases and tenancies but also about more restricted rights such as hunting rights or rights of way. The right of use can be protected by registration of the agreement granting the right.

| Right of withdrawal |
Right to cancel an agreement, cf. the Danish Act on Certain Consumer Agreements (Door-to-Door Selling etc, Distant Contracts and Current Services), and in connection with purchases of real property. There is no general rule on a right of withdrawal in connection with purchases made in retail shops.

| Right to interest |
Right to interest or any other return on capital. The right to interest does not give any additional right in respect of the capital.

| Right to pay off |
The right of the spouse to select the effects of the deceased from his or her estate no matter whether the value exceeds the spouse’s portion of the estate, cf. section 24 b(2) of the Danish Inheritance Act. When utilising his/her right to pay off, the spouse must pay any excess amount.

| Right to remedy a lack of conformity |
The seller’s right to remedy non-conforming goods – the goods are not in working order, cf., for example, section 79 of the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Sale of Consumer Goods). where the seller can avoid other remedies for defective performance by repairing the goods sold.

| Rubber-stamped loans or bonds |
Loan and bonds which, at the time of disbursement, have an interest rate equivalent to the minimum interest rate or a higher rate, cf. section 14(2) of the Danish Capital Gains Act.
