| Assets |
By the assets of an estate is meant the assets of the estate with no deduction of debts or the like.

| Assets available for distribution |
The assets (valuables) included in the insolvency proceedings. They involve everything that the debtor owns at the time of the insolvency order and what he/she acquires during the insolvency proceedings, cf. sections 32 and 33 of the Danish Insolvency Act. Remuneration for his/her work is not included.

Assumption of, for example, the seller’s debt on the purchase of real property. Assumption of debt is subject to the creditor’s acceptance.

| Assumption of risk |
Compensation can be reduced or waived completely if the injured party has accepted a risk.

| Attachment |
The enforcement court may levy attachment when: the creditor has no basis of execution, if the possibility of obtaining cover for the amount due would otherwise be reduced, for example because the debtor is removing assets. You cannot apply for attachment for the sole reason that the debtor is about to sell an asset. The risk that the creditor will not obtain cover must be specific.
